Bike Through the Lights
On Sunday, December 8th, ride along with Santa and take in the view of the 3 million Christmas lights from atop your bike! This non-competitive ride presented by Concho Christmas Celebration and the San Angelo Bicycling Association, is free and open to all. Santa will be there between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm. Parking is available next to the Central High School tennis courts. Riders will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the entrance to the Tour of Lights at the intersection of 1st Street and Abe. Cyclists will need front light, rear reflector or light and helmet. Cyclists must be off the streets of the Tour by 5:40 p.m. Call (325) 650-2858 for more information.

 

Downtown Decorating Contest
Each year Downtown San Angelo, Inc. holds a window decorating contest for downtown businesses.  One lucky winner will receive a personalized Concho Christmas Celebration Greeting Card valued at $1,250. Click here for the 2013 entry form.

 

Christmas Cartoons
Enjoy a variety of Christmas and holiday cartoons shown on a large screen at the end of the Tour of Lights on Oakes Street, December 6th through 31st, running continuously during the light tour. Park your car and bring your blankets! You are sure to make memories as you sit with your friends and family under the stars, sipping hot chocolate and watching these classic cartoons.


Run Rudolph Run
Run Rudolph Run will be held on Saturday, December 14th at 5:00 p.m. This event, hosted by the San Angelo Road Lizards, ASU Fit, the San Angelo Bicycling Association and the San Angelo Lady Lions Club and will start and end at Old Town on East Avenue B. This is a free, non-competitive run/walk open to all. Join Santa and Mrs. Claus in walking or running the 3.0 miles through the Tour of Lights. Strollers are welcome. Enjoy  free cookies and hot chocolate and soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for a donation provided by the Lady Lions. Call (325) 374-0902 for more information.

Tuba Christmas
This year's Tuba Christmas will be held on Saturday, December 14th at noon at the Heights Church. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please call Eric Hansen at (325) 654- 5383.
